24th August 2008 - In heat 1, we had a DNS (Did Not Start) due to the failure of the spark plug on the Dummy Grid & by the time a Good Samaritan ran over with a spare plug, it was too late & the Marshalls wouldn’t let him out.

17th August 2008 - Once Again, Well Done Matt & as there were so many drivers in the Final, he walked away with yet another piece of Silverware for finishing 6th !!

10th August 2008 - The run of bad luck continues this weekend , however, read on, it has a happy ending

27th July 2008 - A big thank you goes out to Steve @ Snakebite

20th July 2008 - Matt finished in a commendable 15th position

13th July 2008 - we couldn’t get the carburettor started for the final so he didn’t even start in the Final

6th July 2008 - finished 7th in his class in the Final.

22nd June 2008 - finished 7th in his class in the Final.

6th June 2008 - 3rd place in the Final

01/06/08 - 1st at the Fourth Round Championships at Rissington Kart Club.

25/05/08 - Matt romps home in 1st place in the wet at Whilton Mill.

04/05/08 - 1st at the Third Round Championships at Rissington Kart Club.

27/04/08 - 15th out of 43 at Whilton Mill Kart Club.

23/03/08 – Won Novice Cup at fifth outdoor race at Whilton Mill, Rugby.

09/03/08 – Won Novice Cup at fourth outdoor race at Kimbolton, Cambs.

03/03/08 - Obtained 1st Position at Canon Raceway Indoor Grand Prix.

24/02/08 – Won Novice Cup at third outdoor competitive race at Whilton Mill, Rugby.

10/02/08 – Won Novice Cup at second outdoor competitive race at Kimbolton, Cambs.

04/02/08 - Obtained 1st Position at Canon Raceway Indoor Grand Prix.

07/01/08 - Obtained 1st Position at Canon Raceway Indoor Grand Prix.

2007

07/10//07 - Won Novice Cup at first Outdoor Competitive Race at PF International Karting Circuit – Newark Notts.

30/09/07 – Obtained MSA (Motor Sports Association) Competition Racing Licence.

08/09/07 – Passed ARKS (Association of Racing Kart Schools) Written & Driving Test.

06/08/07 – Obtained 2nd Position at Canon Raceway Indoor Grand Prix.

07/05/07 – Obtained 1st Position at Canon Raceway Indoor Grand Prix.

05/03/07 – Obtained 1st Position at Canon Raceway Indoor Grand Prix.

27th July 2008 - A big thank you goes out to Steve @ Snakebite. In Heat 1, Matt finished in 4th place; Heat 2, 12th place & Heat 3,8th place. This meant that he started in 8th position in the final. At the end of the 1st lap on a 13 Lap Final, Matt was pushed from behind in the “Boot” section of the track which spun him around facing the opposite direction. He had no choice but to wait for the other Karts to pass & then carried on. Unsurprisingly, he finished 24th !!

20th July 2008 - Matt finished in a commendable 15th position in the Final after starting 18th on the Grid …… Not bad considering there were 52 Cadets there !! Once Again, Well Done Matt.

13th July 2008 - we couldn’t get the carburettor started for the final so he didn’t even start in the Final ……We’ll have to put this one down to experience !! Better luck next time Matt …That’s Racing for you.

6th July 2008 - finished 7th in his class in the Final.

22nd June 2008 - finished 7th in his class in the Final.

6th June 2008 - 3rd place in the Final

01/06/08 - Matt finished 1st and the Fastest lap also went to Matt.

25/05/08 - Matt romps home in 1st place in the wet at Whilton Mill
